Profile Buddy sees only 1 profile out of 6 -- a profile that was not my default, and that hasn't been used in almost a year. I can't get PB to see any of the other profiles.

What's wrong here?

From what I read, Profile Buddy expects your Firefox profile to be in the "default" place.
So you'll need to move the profile manually.
Instructions and a video are found here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=385#p2245
but in a nutshell it means:
– Close both Firefox and Cyberfox
– Open the FF profile, at a location like C:\Users\you\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxx.default
where "you" is actually your profile name, and xxx.default is the name of the profile you use.
– In another window, open the Cyberfox profile, which is at:
C:\Users\you\AppData\Roaming\8pecxstudios\Cyberfox\Profiles\xxx.default
– Empty the Cyberfox profile folder.
– Copy everything in the Firefox folder to the Cyberfox profile folder.

Then run Cyberfox.

Hi Coldblackice

Profile Buddy only does [profile0] ATM and if you have [profile1] - [profile9] for cyberfox on a multiple profile setup then you will need to manually copy over your profile data or if using a non standard path then you need to Manually copy over profile or Manually overwrite new profile structure

Both solutions should only take a few minutes and everything will be just like before will little to no changes.

Profile Buddy will have multiple profile support in the advanced mode at a future date.

Updated to 1.0.2

Whats new in this release.

Code: Select all

Fixed: a few minor issues (Typo's & visuals).
New: redesign of progress message.
New: Replace mode now available.
New: Implemented Crypto (Security Cryptography Class Library x86).
Updated: Crypto (Security Cryptography Class Library x86) Version 1.0.0.4
Note: Replace mode does as the name suggests it replaces your old profile data with the profile data you have selected to transfer over, This means the old data will be permanently deleted, If you don't wish to delete your old data in the event you need to restore it then use "Create New" as it will create a new profile leaving the old one there.
